So, does the king himself work as his own sort of mimic? Like, people try to loot the conspicuous corpse lying around and he retaliates by stealing THEIR weapon and stabbing them with it?

jouste responds:

he totally could! that would be super cool.

*highfives*

I see the mimic king's throne is sort of spartan. When adventurers see a worthy throne, is he just sitting there? :D

Once again, I love the imagination in this one! I sort of wonder how being the mimic kind would work. Do they decide their ruler with epic games of hide and seek? Does he know all about feng shui to make the best disguises? Is he the world's most powerful interior designer? These are always great for pondering entertaining ideas!

Design-wise, the mimic king has an assortment of themes that make him look appropriate for his role, the pesudopods, the chest lids make him a mimic, but the way they are used as a crown and shoulder pads makes him look kingly. Though when I notice the slight blur to everything, I start to wonder if that's what he looks like, or if that's just what he wants me to see? I bet the real king is that pillar in the background! :D

jouste responds:

wow I really like your take on this picture!

The idea of him as the pillar never even crossed my mind but that is super cool. Thanks so much for taking the time to write this! Your really beefed up my idea!
