After my last pin design, I felt I should create an owl. I've been enjoying these tribal animal creations.. maybe I'll make a few more. Thoughts?
How are these made again? They're awesome; digging the tribal animals so far, yet knowing your past similar, sort of amorphous designs, I hope you'll do both still, while keeping the latter a bit simple. The more busy looking that sort of design gets, the more it--- uhhh, takes away from itself, I guess? I think it's more beautiful simple, but you can always get real extravagant on the other hand... it's just so night and day in regard to the kind of art you do, and so in regard to pin stuff, simple is better.

Thanks for the feedback man! Much appreciated. The process I usually take is to sketch out some ideas on paper, then stick to one I like. Then I use photoshop to solidify the design and color. After that, I vectorize it in illustrator and pass it on to my buddy who has a special printer that creates pins. It's a long process, but the final result is very gratifying. I'll be sure to post the actual pins once they're done.
