This event is to be said to be accompanied by a glorious meteor shower, something which a small group has gone to the desert to admire, away from any light pollution. Shortly after the eclipse has happened they hear a deafening crash from a small canyon nearby. They can barely believe their eyes when they get to the source of the crash.
