The suspected cause of the outbreak seems to be linked to Dr.Londanum, the senior bio development official. It came to our attention far too late that she had become infected at some point. Her behavior had become unusual few days before her death, however our staff wasn't able to link this change in behavior to the infection as we hadn't yet achieved a good understanding of how the infection manifests in an infected person. Therefore our thoughts on the matter were that she was simply stressed. She had managed to steal a sample of the amalgamate from the laboratory which she later presumably ingested which made her infection proceed rapidly. Her office was the initial point of the outbreak from which the amalgamate began to spread and search for sustenance. As the amalgamate spread it was apparent that it was more intelligent than what we had previously thought, as our initial hypothesis was that it was only capable of reacting to stimulus. I was able to witness that it was indeed capable of more coherent thought, as it actively sook out the exits to our facility and prevented escape for many. From there it began to corral the others to be consumed as they didn't have any place to run. I don't know how long I may last, I fear that tainted air may get to me eventually as I only have the collar of my coat to filter the air I breathe. The horrible screams and, and the hellish roars of the abominations and their victims are still ringing through the corridors outside, becoming ever closer, I believe I will b ---------------------------------------
