About your wife being Russian or the frying part?
Probably the latter.
I didn't know your wife was Russian.

Nope, just the regular pushing poop-out-of-kitten routine.

Any interesting pet stories, Lounge?

Speaking of kittens, in my neighborhood theres a freakin plethora of "wild" cats. We still feed them from time to time, but the ones that are my house's regulars would literally die to get inside my house. Every time the door cracks open about 4 or 5 will dash in.

It was kinda funny at first but now its just annoying, and whenever i dont feed them i get kinda depressed.

When it comes time for me and my lady friend to consider building/buying a house, I think I'd like to do it away from the CBD so that we can afford more land. I want to build a massive shed and take in sick/injured animals. Especially cats. I have a massive soft spot for strays. We had one stray that hung around our place a lot, and we were on the brink of adopting him, but he disappeared without a trace ;(

Awesome...

After craving the authentic thing for a while, after doing a bit of searching I found a place where I can get my hands on an original Selected Ambient Works 85-92 12 inch vinyl. Somehow, I really didn't think buying the CD would be authentic enough. We have an awesome set of 4 speakers hooked up to the record player through an amplifier that was designed for big ass stacks (at least I think it was... the dial goes from -70 to 0 decibels, we usually keep it on about -55 because any more than -30 would break the speakers and probably shake our house apart), so hopefully in about a month or so I'll be having some awesome ambient waves flowing through the house... fuck yeah.

85-92 was the first aphex twin album i ever got and it's still one of my favourites ever.

The vinyl version of SAWvol2 has "Stone in Focus" as an exculsive. It also happens to be the best song on the entire release. URGH.

If you're into that knda DnB, you'll probably enjoy stuff by Ed Rush, Spor, some stuff by Black Sun Empire, Limewax, and maybe Current Value.
Hope that'll help satisfy your DnB needs.

On my last song the MB was 666, kinda freaky.

And stupid question here, whats the difference between an artist favoriting a song and favoriting you as an artist? Always wondered.

Try downloading mixes instead of asking for individual artists. That gives you a lot to look at in one sitting and usually has variety. This mix proved quite tasty.

I've always looked at it like this;

Fave'd a song - person liked your one, single music track.
Fave'd an artist - fan likes more than one song of yours, and would like to hear more from you, stay updated and what have you.

that is my perspective, though i would like to hear from other points of views. interesting question.

I dunno, I have 171 people who have me as a favourite artist and I'm pretty sure most of them are from that Miami Shark song.

Tom Fulp seemed to like a few of my songs, though. +1 ego!

Theres different buttons for favoriting artist vs track?

Response to The Audio Forum Lounge 2011-05-24 02:44:00

The love heart button next to the artist's avatar adds them to your favourite artists.
The "Add song to favourites" button under the genre and file info does exactly what it says :)
