Cool stats. I'd like to see the active leaders though. Where did you find all this stuff?

I googled hockey records. Not that immpressive a way to find them but still, I'm the only one here who did.

Cool. All I could think of was hhof.com, the Hall of Fame's website, because NHL.com is crap for active leaders

Having thought about the stats, I think that Messier will break Howe's seasons played record, maybe even passing him for goals.

Maybe Tie Domi will break the PIMs record as well, but Gretzky's records are safe...for now. (Maybe some kid called Sidney Crosby?)

He'll be back. hhof still labels him as an active player. He's got a season off to recover, there's life in the old dog yet.

That is a big blow. He's one of hockey's best active players. I know the Avs will be anxious for news. Let him recover first, before jumping to conclusions about his career. His dad may say that he wants Forsberg to retire, but in the end, it's Peter's decision.

I noticed that Sidney Crosby is still on fire in the QMJHL. He's up to 157 points in 59 games. I know it will be less when he gets to NHL level, but that's still impressive.

I'm wondering how the NHL is going to arrange the next draft. Since it's based on the regular season positions of the teams from last season, but they've already used those positions to get their last draft selections.

Yeah, back in the dim and distant past. They haven't won the cup for 12 years now Jacques Demers' Habs beating Barry Melrose's LA Kings in 1993.

That's a major slump for the Habs.

Proper violence!

On a side note, Buffalo's AHL team has painted the Ice surface a 'soft blue' and the Blue lines orange. This is to help viewers keep their eyes on the biscuit easily. Should the trial be a success, they will implement across the AHL, with a view to making it an NHL rule sometime within the next 4 years.

Wow, orange lines sound extremely homosexual.
But if it helps the league, it helps the league.
