Well technically this idea might work if there was some sort of minimum amount of characters for a review, encouraging people to write a decent review, but I very much doubt anyone on Newgrounds would like that, because the very reason popular Flash/Audio/Art have thousands of reviews is because random people see/hear them, and give a one-liner review saying whether they liked it or not. If we had a minimum character limit, the amount of reviews would decrease tremendously, and let's all face it; even though artists prefer long, thoughtful reviews, we all like the support/feedback you get from one-liners.

And if your idea is implemented without a minimum character limit, then loads of people would no doubt spam-review to get their points up. So the problem isn't your idea, but it's how Newgrounds will take it.

Anyhow that's my opinion on it. You can suggest it to the admins but I don't think they're accepting any more suggestions at this point because they've locked the suggestions thread.

It's not a problem! You're not letting anyone down - just review when you feel like it and if you have real-life issues, then those should always take priority :).

Yeah, like what Steph said. Ever since I joined back up with the club again i've only been reviewing about 5 a week. It's nice to review the whole list but it isn't practical if you get busy or don't have the time.

Some time ago, someone who's a fan of music PM'd me asking me if I could check out her drawing and since we're low on art requests right now, I thought I'd showcase it here so we can have a bit more variety in our requests :D.

I'll just say now, that this is Hardstyle Glitchcore. That way, any reviewers that don't like the genre don't have to waste their time. Thank you guys, I know you guys work hard, I really appreciate that you even do this. :D

An idea just came to my mind: It would be really cool if the genres would be listed next to the audio requests. SCTE, I know you use a program to make the request lists, would it possible to contact the programmer of this nice little tool (sorry, I forgot who it was) to have this implemented?
Sometimes I want to review some audio but have to click through various requests to find a genre that I like and that I can give some serious feedback on.
I know, in the past I reviewed every request without paying attention to the genre. But now that my reviewing time is so limited, I'd rather spend it on music I REALLY enjoy (and just to be on the safe side: I respect EVERY artist who puts hard work into their songs and showcase it here on Newgrounds! It's just that one person can't like every genre the same way ;) ).

I guess we just don't get a lot of chicks joining, then again we don't discriminate in this crew or most other crew for that matter.

I've always been an artsy person, though I've only been good in writing. I might post a few drawings I do when I'm bored in class. But, to warn everyone beforehand, they aren't too...well, pretty.

Ah, okay. It's just everyone has such nice work here, barely anything I find wrong xP I'll try to be a bit more condensing on the scores though. I enjoy reviewing actually, I have nothing better to do other than write/type.

If you reviewed everything with the signature at the bottom, that's 18 x 6 which is 108 and then you add 7 because you did all the reviews and 3 because you posted throughout the week, so your points are 118.

Not really. We plan on doing writing when the Literature Portal comes out (probably in the redesign) but we've never actually reviewed writing before. We can make an exception and review yours because you're a member, but I don't know if it's alright with everyone else :P.

Wow, pretty much a superb week this time round! Not only do we have three new members, but two of them did all of the requests (along with SCTE3's expected 100% completion :P) and the max amount of RRC reviews on a submission was a whopping eight reviews. Stats are looking great, and not that many people were inactive either.

I mean if I really had to give any bad news it's that we seemed to be a big forgetful with the RRC sigs this time round, haha.

But still, this was a great week. Good job to SCTE3, YumeSin and Omega-Ravager for doing all of the requests, and to everyone else who helped out, even if it was with just one or two reviews. Also SCTE3 is really catching up, having passed 2.6k total points, and will pass me anytime soon (which will be the first time someone passed me in well over a year xP). I won't go without a fight though - I'll at least try and get to 3k points before him.

Anyway, great job everybody! Enjoy the update.

GUIDELINES/THREAD INFO

Hey guys, been a while since I've posted in the RRC; almost a year and a half. But I've been trying to improve myself as an artist and I'm happy with the steps that I've made so far. But i would really appreciate some constructive advice on some of my newer songs :)

I noticed that i accidentally forgot to respond to some nice reviewers in the past, i have tried to go back and leave a reply on all songs that were done. Please don't feel as though i was snuffing you off, or disrespecting. I took all the advice i got in the past, and i believe ive learned a lot from the constructive criticism i was given by you guys.
