Being scouted means that other musicians have found your audio submissions to be worthy! It is a prestigious honor.
Some audio contests here on Newgrounds require a musician to be scouted before participating. The Audio Deathmatch allows anyone and everyone to take part, though we still only send out a certain number of personal invitations. Receiving one in your PM inbox is also a prestigious honor!
Well, guess I'll make my audition on this piece.
I don't know if I have a shot at it but I'll give it my all. Here's my submission.

The Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch is not about confidence! It's about setting 'em up and knocking 'em down. One by one you take on all challengers and put them in the ground. That's the only way to make it to the Final Showdown.
The Group Stages have been done away with. It's just 1 vs 1 in every stage of the Tourney, until there's only a single triumphant hero left standing amidst a heap of broken bodies. It's brutal. It's gruesome. It's already more fun than a barrel of deranged monkeys on holiday!

Interesting! But how exactly will that be managed? Will you e.g. take the strongest score into group A, the second strongest in group B, third in C and so on and after group 32 you proceed that same way until all 64 participants are seeded? Or will that mean that people with similar scores will be pit against eachother?

So many questions! Suffice to say, everyone who has submitted an Audition track will be seeded. The top 64 seeds will move on to the Tournament and they will be matched up... what's that? Really? Oops! Sorry, I can't actually divulge the secret technique since it was perfected by warrior monks deep in the Himalayas. I guess you'll just have to wait and see!

Hm - why not just making it totally random and choosing the pairings live in a lottery kind of show? 64 names in a glass container with 64 intransparent plastic-globes within. An attractive person could draw the pairings directly - accompanied by drum-rolls. Of course we would need a commentator / moderator who makes the whole procedure exciting :D
