I don't put up an age restriction because I don't expect it to be factor to one's skill. I've seen a 15-year-old kid who can decently animate just as well as a college student taking a beginer's course.
Skill-wise, yes, some of the submissions from last year's collab do look more as "moving objects," but this year, I am upping the standards a bit since this year will be its 10th Anniversary.
Hence why I set the deadline to five months from today (I did get commented that it was over-excessive) so most of us can put more effort into the submissions. We have all summer to work on, and maybe a bit of winter vacation if needed. Plus I'll be around commenting and critiquing around so they can improve.
You can come join if you want to challenge yourself. And if it is too much for you, feel free to walk out. At the very least, you learn something if animation is an area you want to get into.
