Seems like you'd benefit from some gesture drawing exercises to learn some new poses that aren't so stiff. Get a pile of photo references and try to capture the directional energy and weight of each pose in 30 seconds for each. You'll get loosey goosey real quick. Do an hour's worth on its own, then 10 each time before starting a new piece.
Take as many references of hands, and do 5 minute studies of each. I see you hiding hands and feet in your poses, and I know why, and so do you. Grind those references.

It's a start! Keep in mind that these studies are to capture motion and weight, meaning the outline isn't as important. A gesture that feels like it's moving is better than one with a more accurate outline but no captured energy.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind for next time.

100% this. I promise you that committing to figure/gesture drawing and doing it with some regularity will make you grow as an artist. If you can at least do a little bit every week it'll help you a lot. By figure drawing you're also learning anatomy and building a mental library of poses and shots to draw characters. Much of art is about observing reality and is crucial for a strong foundation. It's good to draw whatever you want for fun, but balancing that with exercises in discipline helps elevate that art. Studio Trigger's work is very stylized and fun, but there's immense discipline behind their stuff as well.
Speaking of figure drawing, consider checking out Mike Mattesi's work. He's the author of Force: Dynamic Life Drawing for Animators and while I'm not telling you to buy the book he does show his illustrations for free. Observing his work might help you understand how to approach gesture drawing as he is a teacher in this subject. His lines are relaxed, but confident, something that comes with experience but is very valuable. He also shows in some of his illustrations how action, rhythm and force are applied throughout the body. With enough practice you will begin to use longer and more confident strokes because you've built the knowledge needed to draw the subject even if you don't realize it. You'll continually gain the confidence to draw your characters doing cooler and more exciting things.
Balancing fun with discipline is important. Continue to draw what you like! because hey, that's why we all do it and it's important to keep enjoying it, but add these exercises like Skoops suggested. Ya gotta eat your vegetables so you can grow up to be a big strong artist. Often many self taught students of art lack the required foundation needed to develop themselves and a lot of the comes from the fact they don't know how to do that. It can be upsetting to be told to go back to basics but even advanced artists continue to study and as I said, without a good foundational knowledge, it can impede your growth as an artist. It does come from a place of sincerity in genuinely wanting to see artists grow and improve. The road can be difficult for self taught artists (but truthfully I have art school graduate friends who weren't even taught the full fundamentals) so we all have to help inch each other in the right direction.

I still have much to learn! (it never ends honestly) I've tried to build a solid foundation for myself, but only after realizing I myself needed to go back to basics. I'm hoping to utilize everyone else's knowledge here on Newgrounds to help me learn the things I might not have even realized I needed to learn which definitely happens. What I like about this place is that it's a community of creators. Newgrounds can be a place of growth, learning and experience! I'll do my best on the content I put out and learn from my mistakes. I wish the same for MisterBright as well :)

Sneak Peak
In case you don't actually go to the piece's link, here is the description as it's important.
"This is a sneak peak at a new series of pictures. Wynter is getting a final character sheet (for real this time) and it will be split into atleast 4 pieces: Her Bio (where this is from), Expressions, Outfit(s) and a turn around (animated maybe?).
I changed some things around. Her pants being really plain looking bothered me a lot so I gave them a light pattern. I removed the stripes from her sweater because they were really annoying to draw. I made her hair long since I always do short hair and I wanted to mix it up more. Her sweater is supposed to be more beat up and torn so I might go back and fix that in the meantime.
I'm workin hard on this so I hope you all enjoy Wynter's final character sheet. After this, I need to crack down on making the main character. Stay tuned for this in the future."
