I haven't seen the complete show, only clips of it and it just seems generic and catters to the nerdy weird outcast kids(I was one though), but I hope it's good and the clips I watched were out of context. It's just these character design suck more than the show's lame ass food and recipes.
Your critiques on it's art style seem to be that it's not anatomically correct. I personally like the way the 'hairy gnome' girl and Mortimer (the mutated parrot) look. Except you're right about everything else- everyone else doesn't really have anything special going on, like looking like a gnome or looking mutated. And JP's ear has always weirded me out. I can't stand it

I recently rewatched the show, all 95 episodes, yes it may have good and bad elements, I generally think it's a unique show for it's time especially for the visuals.

But the WORST ANIMATION I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE IS the obscure animated German Christmas movie, Rudi Rotnase (Rudy Red-Nose) the animation is so bad, it makes 12 Oz. Mouse look like DaVinci.

Is it because it’s by the same guy who made Sanjay and Craig, a bad cartoon. Well, at least BB is good but the animation style is…. interesting. You should watch the brunch episode if you don’t like the animation style, you can see how a variety of different animators would’ve made the show.
