I thought I would do pretty terrible on this update, but I'm happy to see that I still managed to get over 1,000 points and managed to do better than the people directly around me. Over the course of this month I should reach 125,000 total stats somewhere which is a pretty nice milestone.

Still catching the rest of the top 10, with a pace in excess of everyone else's, but that's not enough. Losing some art reviews, due to the bug fix wasn't a plan I had made contingency for, so I've got to work around a substantial drop in numbers there. Well, there's one way around that.

The B/P pace seems to be stable at about 40 per day, so decent. I just need to keep on making gains and perhaps the medals will come.

Welcome to Bahamut's 17th 2x10k hexalist update. I was expecting the 10k barrier for medals to be broken here but it looks like it won't be until next month. Just to say Nijsse, we're counting on you!

SIX NEW Entries: Welcome to DrMackFoxx, HeavenDuff, NitrogenousBeing, Skarder, sonyco and Tycrane. HeavenDuff entered with a combination of 10k EXP and 10k posts while everyone made their debut with 10k EXP and 10k saves.

Status Changes: No new changes (once again). Despite one user, I'm not letting that piece of shit have the quadlisted glory again. We'll celebrate if (huge fucking if here) he's ever deleted from the site.

I'm proposing a new idea for the hexalist. Nothing too major but like with the B/P and EXP updates, should we go ahead with rank milestone mentions here? The only reason I've put them off for so long is the higher restriction to get on the 10k updates but at this point there's far more users on the hexalist than there are for the B/P list (although I still propose extended B/P updates). Let me know what you think of having rank milestone mentions for the hexalist updates.

I didn't gain as many points as some people around me unfortunately so Idiot-Finder is catching up on me again and XwaynecoltX is getting away. The summer holiday is getting close though and I think I can beat them there.

Thanks for the update! I really tried hard to reach 10k medals, but since I have ~99% of the working medals right now, reaching the milestone largely depended on new games. Unfortunately, the last 2 weeks were fairly slow, so I couldn't make it. =( With Euro2012 on the way I might slack a little the coming weeks, but I'm very confident that I will finally be quadlisted next time!

Welcome to Bahamut's 18th 2x10k hexalist update. Finally we break the 10k barrier for medals thanks to Nijsse. I suppose it's only a matter of time until more 10k medal users roll in but what's matters is that he reached the goal for us all. As for me, I should get off my lazy ass and actually acquire more medals. :P

+2 isn't bad for the month. With current pace I might be able to grab 3 spots on the list for the next update. But after that there will be no significant leaps at all. Things will slow drastically. Got to go back over the games I just glanced at or barely played.

Wow, how did I miss this update? Thank you Bahamut & Gamejunkie. I'm really happy to be quadlisted! Back in march 2011 Auz thought it would be too easy to enter this list earning medals. I had 5500 medals around that time, so it took me 1.5 years to get there even though I'm one of the more active users. When I earned my 10000th medal I had around 250000 total points. Take a look at the medal points thread and you'll get the idea how not easy it is to get there. Sure, there are some ridiculously easy medals out there, but if you want to reach 10k medals you have to beat a ton of really difficult games. It's a lot of fun though. =)

I certainly agree with that. I don't have the patience to endure all those hard games so for the most part I focus on easy medal games but even then I am so goddamn lazy. Many users will have fun getting to 10k medals before I even have the chance to get there. I'd say even if there were loads of spammy medal games, it's still time consuming to get over 10,000 different medals.

Even with 10 AU2 games (250 medals for 1 game, glad there's just one), we would still only have around 10 people with 10k+ medals. Besides, now that medal games don't need to be approved anymore, we see more ridiculously easy medal games now than we did back then. You still have to figure out which are the easy ones and then spend time beating them. I know protection points have a daily cap, but compared to medals you can accumulate them way faster over time. Unless you quit your job/school and play medal games all day long. Even then you're better off making posts all day. =) Long story short, I still think you're underestimating how difficult it is to rack up 10000 medals. ;)

Speaking of difficult tasks, how about entering this list using blam points. For the last 2 months, the top gainer averaged ~5.5 points a day. If you start from scratch it would take you 1818 days (or approximately 5 years) to reach 10k points. I'm sure the portal will change over time, but I think I'd rather write 10000 reviews. :O

Sorry guys, I'm still out of use with the stat puller so this update is postponed as well. I'm hoping I can get started again with the B/P update next week, otherwise it will be carrying over at least six weeks worth of stat progress.
