Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Nothing special in the animation department and I know this video is more suited on youtube, but I thought I'd upload to Newgrounds as well as I know this is also a big thing that happens to a lot of great animators and artists.

Hopefully sharing my thoughts will bring a little more awareness, thank you for watching :)

Finally someone who understands me.
But srsly, fuck Facebook. Facebook is that kind of ''social network'' which people get mad at people just for being...human? Damn d00d.

So damn true.
I don't have this issue since I don't make anything, but I never understood why videos from newgrounds would be uploaded by 20 different youtube accounts, even though the creator of the video has already uploaded it to youtube.
I see this a lot with Tomska's ASDFMovie series which gets reuploaded by 20-50 other people.
I also see this on art sites such as DevientART where people will upload their commissions from artists in order to get popularity by purchasing their way to the top.
I'm aware that purchasing a commission makes it yours, but to reupload it is to steal notice from the original artist whom you commissioned it from.
I'm glad people are making videos about this, I was going to mention some people put a watermark in the corner of their videos, but some people go out of their way to put a giant, black square over it, making it very noticeable and very obvious that it was stolen...
Still, this video really summed up how much of an Asshole people can be and wish their were video hosting sites who took this more seriously than just sitting back and not caring.

<deleted> responds:

I didn't even think about the fact of people re-uploading commission work :O that's shady.

Thank you for watching!

Yeah, I have seen one of my favorite Youtubers Gajin Goombas video have been stolen.
I think the video was his ME!ME!ME! music video theory. I cant find stolen version though, so I guess it has been removed. Go riddance!

That was really nice. We need more of this to share the awareness of the bad thing that freebooting is. If i share a youtube video with the share option on youtube, is that freebooting?

<deleted> responds:

Thanks and nah that's actually preferred as it helps the content creator reach more people with the original video :P

The fact that I literally never use Facebook because the ads destroy my computer is just hilarious.
And, 3, 2, 1,
freebooted.
