Another Man's Treasure

This is the simple story of a jackal wandering the desert looking for a drink. He gets what he wants at a cadaver's expense and suffers the consequences.

This piece was created with charcoal on paper and an acoustic bass guitar.

The timing is great! i love it

Woowee this gave some serious chills. Loved the rawness of the traditional medium and how the bass guitar is played eerily without accompaniment. Look forward to seeing any work you may post in the future :)

Loved it, I can understand that the art and animation wasn't supposed to be this video's strong suit so I knew to focus on the concept.

It was mind fringey, schizophrenic like and it's my kind of thing, when the jackal walked up to the guy and sliced his stomach up and then threw him into a pit where there was more corpses, the jackal took his place as some sort of punishment. That is just cool, there's this message in this video that you're trying to convey and I like that it's not just some random illegible video. Nice job!

Love the way the jackal moves!!!

This is fantastic. What I could of wanted more off, the scenes where the characters stand still, could of had some extra animation of them breathing or moving slowly in curiosity because they sometimes look weird standing still but that's just a little desire of mine to make this more fulfilling.

I completely agree. I only colored half of the frames I had penciled. What was excluded had more secondary animation and atmosphere building. There's literally a box of ~500 sheets of paper in storage waiting to get shading.
