I put in my protect vote but...
...didn't get around to reviewing until now (I'm on a 8 review binge). Anyway, how could I not? I reviewed Gravity back in November '03, and this is its... uh... nephew, I guess. #;-}>
My main complaint about Gravity was that I didn't dig the music that much. This time around, I think the music is just about perfect. So, with that down... can I find anything else? ehhhh... I guess you could hope for a more complex arkanoid/breakout level for the sticks to roam around on and for the paddle to whack the ball at. But sometimes simplicity is better. I dunno. One thing's for sure: since the deaths aren't by squishing blocks this time, they're revealed in full bloody glory. Also, there's more than one to die this time... there's falling, there's getting hit by the ball... ahhhh, wonderful. And hey, your corpse can even be further ruined if you died the latter way and then later the block you're on is gone (poor Mr. Green!). I love how Mr. Orange is sleeping most of the time the others are panicking/planning/trying to escape, too. Wait a second, am I reviewing Platforms or Reservoir Dogs here? #;-}> Again, I dunno...
But one thing I DO know is that I'll definitely be checking out the game. And also... that you should make a game version of Gravity, too. Stick-squishing Tetris! THE BESTEST! Great job, 13! As always.
