Good concept, bad execution
Storyline triggers look like they were a last-minute addition. Sometimes, they fail to trigger and leave you without a way to advance the story. For instance, when someone asks you to pay them some amount, like when Bahlrog, or whatever his name is asks you to pay him $50000, and you don't, then he'll never ask you to again. The next storyline trigger won't appear, either.
Battles are too long. Yes, the addition of an Escape button helped with the regular battles, but with the last boss fight, it just took way too long. The gun turrets are completely unbalanced in comparison to the ships. It shouldn't take 20 minutes of extremely tedious and repetitive clicking to beat an enemy.
That Hustler game that came out 3 years after this was released is definately the epitome of what a good drug dealer/Taipan type game is. You should really make an update or new version for this game. It's got a good concept, but some minor details, such as the values for attack and ship HP really drag this one down.
Of course, I know that the developer of this game has either died or is just way too full of himself to come back to this page and read reviews for a game that's years old. Maybe someone out there in the Interwebs can make an update for this game.
