Great game for the times.
Difficult isn't really difficult - you can borrow a lot of money from Dar Ghul (you need $60,000 at least), then you follow the story sequence. It then becomes extremely easy from there, as your initial ship never has trouble with pirates. With a maxed out ship, easy to attack mieng khan.
Wow, just think, the teens who played this in 2004, are now parents of kids who play in 2018-2019. Life and your circles, you be scary.

Otherwise, this is one of my favs, been coming back from time to time for a couple years now
Pretty nice remake, and I really like the addition of the quest line. The ship battles, however, are horribly tedious. This really needs an option to disable all animations just to make those more fluent.
Looks like the "Sun spaceport" cheat from the original still works in this version, though it seems to put you really far away from all planets, instead of exactly in the center. To get to the Sun Spaceport, right at the start of the game, when you're still in New Terra, right click and press Play. You'll figure it out from there ;)
