Interesting segment..
There are so many references through the quotes on the lead ins starting at the first one concerning: dreams, fears, memory, darkness, light, over and over. The whole slant of this so far is very Right brain...the left brain situations are all VERY THREATENING: the corporation and the employees there, the UN outpost in the destert and the soldiers there...even the captain and his boat are curiously "out of touch", isn't that a fair assessment? So why is this whole atmosphere of the story so much like a fantasy albeit an upcoming struggle of good vs evil. You omit or choose to ignore whole realms of our world? I mean the science and technology, the whole progress of our comfortable 21st century lives depends on that balance and advancement. Realize this, India, which is probably the culture that most personifies the philosophy of all that you preach here, is still a developing country. And none of you would willingly trade places with the average citizens of that country, or would you? Why? Because the advantages of our technology and business that has produced these fruits which you enjoy without much effort, would cost you alot if you lived in India, alot more than what it takes in good ole USA....so this story is a fantasy, without enough new reality, probably.
