Makes a good point, whatever that point is
Many people input their thoughts on what the flash meant, and many have put a mindless, "wtf? you're disgustingly sick and need help." (...wait, they probably used "your", heh)
The way I interpreted the flash was...
The sadness is better than the smile because if he gave into his temptation of happiness and killed everybody, his heart would be cold and empty. However, if you have -patience- and endure the sadness without doing something so extreme, your heart would become stronger and better.
What I find sick is there are actually people who thought the flash was supposed to be funny... o.O
Regardless of how you interpret it, this was technically a good flash.
very well done
this is done well, i like it very much, especially the concluding line/quote "The sadness is better than the smile, because with the sadness of your face, better your heart becomes
this is how serious shorts should be
this has what so many serious newgrounds flashes lack. SUBTLETY. The message (that there's a certain quiet dignity to sadness and that it helps your soul mature) is spelled out between the lines. No over the top emotional breakdown/suicide/murder spree/apocolypse moments that make so many other serious flashes so embarassing.
awesome!
this is just an overall great movie. keep it up.
