Reviews for "Freds Adventure"

Nice

It was great at first i thought gay, but then whoa was it good especially at end with big monster. I though wtf i cant beat that f dis shiate muslims, but anywhoo. igonre all the fuckholes who think it sux look at their profile and tell how many things they have done...0 so ignore them and bath in your glory which you deserve

What happened...?

What the heck?
Looked so good, but it was so damn slow, and tedious, having to change around all the time
Ugh, not for me

Stinks

i played this for five minutes and got tired of having to switch between touching, looking, talking, putting shit into my inventory and taking it out, and i only walked like 10 meters from the house. u gotta be REAL patient or bored to play this. and i wasnt enough of either.

Well,

You need the sneakers because otherwise you die on the tiles.
You have to put the emerald into the lava in the second room of hell.
Anyway, what was the point of even going into hell? You get nothing from hell, and you could just use the vacuum on him without even going inside.
Yes, the people DO make sense when they talk, the bird is the village idiot, and the guy in the shoe IS CRAZY. The only other instance where someone might not make sense is the guy that wants his lucky charm back...
Anyway, why did you even need the holy water?
You could have just used the flint on the torches.

Game needs work.

Ok, the game was all right. After an hour, more than I expected to play this game, there are several things that didn't work for me.

First of all, it was incredibly hard to figure out what you needed to do next each time. I was so confused on where to go and what to do, I spent a majority of my time running around randomly trying to find anything that might have "changed" since I was last there. Most of my time was spent on Death which even though fred said "Got him!" I STILL saw him running around. He kept hiding in the trash can and rushing behind the hot water tap and then he would be gone from there and after i circle around the map, death would reappear back in the trash can. I thought "hey maybe I didnt get him.." but I beleive that is a glitch for sure. Becuase he was defintly ramming around in my vacuum for sure.

But besides that, it was confusing on where to go and what to do. I had no idea I needed to use the ring for the witch or how to use the jewel for one of death's gaurds. You have to do a LOT of guessing work which is not always obvious to your audience even though it might be obvious to you, the creator. There just arent enough clues around to help anyone work things out on their own. Im actually fairly sure most of your audience, if not all of them had to use the walk through at least once or you will have way more complaints than you have now. I tried to go through the game without the walkthrough but I was so stuck that I ended up using it a few times or I would have been playing much longer.

Another thing I noticed was the old bum said "thanks for the fish" even though I never gave him one. It was weird. The "sea" with the sharks made me think something I had to do there existed but I got nothing out of it. So that was almost a false clue. And WHAT was the pepper spray used for besides to throw at the guy? And if I didnt think maybe the underlines in the book was a clue, I would have never guessed the second underlined word was the trick to the problem of the tiles. Or maybe they both work..I only used one, so I wouldnt know.

Another thing that annoyed me was the pathways. I walked horizontal and I ended going upwards. And there were other pathway mishaps too. Not all of them made sense to connect in a way where I understood.

I did like the concept of this game, but it just was way too hard to figure everything out. There was not enough clues for people to figure the entire thing out on their own. All of the clues that would have helped are also placed in the wrong places where you wouldn't discover them til much later. It just seemed too much for a silly bike and almost didnt feel very worth it at the end.

Also...was I suppose to have a summon monster for the boss? Because I apparently didnt...what was up with that? I know you were trying to be very final fantasy with that one...but I felt I missed something. Or perhaps I did...who knows. Why did you have so many rooms in the cave if you really only needed to go through a few? I figured there was a point to some of the rooms, but there weren't. What was the green spot that glowed when you went into a certain room? It was the room that was south of the hall way where the spider web was. Everything is soo confusing...@_@
