It's great that so many artists are good at taking advantage of Flash's shortcuts, but this is what I really like to see. Frame by frame... nothing beats it. It's worth all of the time and effort and I'm impressed with this one. As for the short itself, eventhough it's an introduction, the story IS confusing and choppy and I wasn't very interested in what was going on. I mainly focused on the FBF work. If you're not just displaying your animating talent, the story should be enjoyable as well.. but you did give yourself an out - this being an introduction and "VERY deliberate" - and I can't judge too harshly on that, especially with such great animating. I'll be looking out for the second one. Great job.
vague story
for a story that jumps right into action, there isnt much of a back story revealed at all. you should have thought out your storyline a little better, for it will probably effect the way ppl judge your second flash prejudicially(sp).
over all, i think the graphics and sound coordination were ok, but i can imagine they'll be better by the next flash you put out.
to me it seemed like trigun, kenshin, and hellsing all rolled into one with the ninja's, cowboy's, and their fighting styles.
thats all the gripe i have about this. hope its useful in the great mass of critisizm youre going to get for this.
