Nice Game

This game is awesome...its like that old brick breaker game but with a twist...u can smash through the whole level in just one really strong hit..yes, indeed this is a very nice game and the music is nice, made me happy wile playing it lol..good job.

Wow...

The game started off so amazingly well, and on level 4 it's like you didn't even understand the workings of your own game. That level is the worst idea I've ever seen in level design from it's own designer. There's NO way to get the ball to be able to go into the tiny little slot so that it can actually get to the end. You actually programmed the game so that after so many hits between two parallel blocks, the ball's angle decreases and it slows down. It's IMPOSSIBLE for the ball to make it to the end of the third corridor in stage 4. The only way to beat it is to actually break about 20 different black blocks. You actually programmed the game so that it doesn't work in that situation, and then you made the 4th stage that exact situation. I finally got the ball up right to the end and it's angle went to exactly straight up and down about 3 pixels from the final block. It had to break through the black blocks to the bottom, and I had to hit it JUST right to send it to the right because you made it so the only way to put angle on the ball is to move the paddle. Why didn't you make it like all other Arknoid/Breakout games where hitting the ball on the right or left of the paddle sends it in an angle corresponding to where you hit it? The only way to move the ball to the right is to pull the paddle from down to up and also hit it on it's side. The reason why that's so awful in stage 4 isn't just getting that last block. You made it so the entry into the tunnel thing is on the far, far left, while the opening is over on the right. That makes it nearly impossible to maneuver correctly to get the ball into that hole in a reasonable angle to actually make it further than 3 blocks wide. Did you play test your own game? You shouldn't seen a problem when the fact that when you get the power up block that gives you 3 balls at once, none of the extra balls can even make it more than a few blocks wide due to the breakdown of the angle of approach after several hits.

Really bad physics programming on certain levels knocks this game's potential down. Also a flash game for a game like this wasn't a great idea. The whole game's design is about moving the paddle in a way that is like realistic physics, but moving the courser outside the tiny box of play destroys the game and kills you every time. It's like that Madness game by Krinkles. It was played with the mouse and he recognized that it just didn't work, and made a downloadable version where you can't pull the cursor out of the box of play.

The graphics are decent, but the music is really annoying. I know I can turn it off, but It'd be nice to have music anyway that was good. The volume defaults were really bad, too. When I turned the music volume down to about 3% and the SFX up to 100%, the difference in the crazy loud and annoying music and the overly soft and benign sound effects were strange. It's supposed to be the music that's the background sound and the sound effects that's the primary sound, not the other way around. I keep turning the music down again and again and it's still loud right near the edge of "off", which surprises me how loud the default music setting turned out to be once I contrasted it to it's lowest setting.

And wow, there's game overs? People don't use game over's anymore in these kinds of flash games because it ruins the game. It's being played at home, not in a paid arcade. When someone dies 5 times to your game faults and gets told by you they can't play anymore, they're just gonna turn it off. There's so many things wrong with such a good idea that could've been great here. I'm pretty disappointed with this one.
