I agree with PirateogtaX, you keep thinking "Just one more time..." I like this version much better than the fish one. I really enjoyed the fish-eat-fish game but I kept messing up trying to eat fish that were slightly bigger than me because I just couldn't tell. I like that you modified it and colored them "this one's bigger than you definitely" and "you can eat that one, definitely". I stopped playing the fish game because I was frustrated, I stopped playing this game because I was threatened into quitting.
Simple Yet Excellent
This is one of those extremely addictive games. After every game, you think "I'll just play ONE more time and try to beat my last score". But then you end up playing a dozen more times. And the ranking system sure doesn't help you to stop playing, as you can always try for a better rank. I like that you can see your A - Z rank in the top right corner during the game and see your progression toward that "A". It's a nice touch.
It has a simple premise and it's easy to just get right into and play. It's just one basic concept and you don't have to read any tutorial or remember what a whole bunch of different powerups do. All you do is eat the green blocks and avoid the red blocks, and it is great!
