wow

i alway's thought that someone capable of making such cool animations like metal gear awsome should stick to what there good at but....wow....this really hit a spot for me...almost crying i just gotta say that this is a great flash, thnks

Great!!!

Omg how could anyone find any thing wrong in this animation? Neither to insult an artist of a work such as this?! THe style and music which makes me come back to the submission every time , and the mystirious and sad story of the man.
Awesome vid' and it deserves no less than a 10 if you dont count the graphics then its a ten. Oh btw I liked how smooth the animation als o was smooth. Awesome flash!

great

for this clip there is only one word : wow
this one goes directly to my fav list.

Epic

What a great movie open to many kinds of interpretation.

Here's mine: **SPOILERS**

I don't believe that there was a crime or that man was a fugitive. Instead I think that the police only represent some trial or hardship that the man will have to face. The appearance of police could be easily replaced with any stressful situation.

Here's what I think that story is: **Warning: Dramatic License**

There is a man walking alone in the rain. He has no umbrella to keep him dry. He walks very slowly because he has no place to go. He is hurt badly and bleeding from some unseen wound. He does not have a painful expression on his face, instead it is a sad look.

He sees a woman inside the phone booth enjoying a phone conversation with some unknown person. She must be very friendly with the person on the other end since she is smiling and laughing. She is also wearing a wedding ring. Her connection with friends (the phone) and loved ones (the ring) is in stark contrast to the wounded man in the rain.

He stops for a bit and looks at the woman. He can see the woman enjoying herself despite the miserable weather. He can see the happiness in her smile. His feelings of loneliness must be overwhelming and his eyes water up. One tear falls from his eye amidst the many raindrops. He needs to move on. He regains his composure, but the somber look remains on his face.

The woman can see him walk by from inside the phone booth. His head is hung low and he walks very slowly past her. He is so close but she can only see his silhouette. As if the man was in another world from her.

A siren is heard in the distance, but the man does not flinch. He continues to walk slowly ahead. He shows no signs that he wants to avoid whats coming. The man only barely acknowledges the police, as if their presence is insignificant to him. He is now confronted with a difficulty that will force him to act. He was not running away. Instead he knew this was going to happen and he was ready for it. He draws his gun to commit suicide.

The woman looks on in horror as the man is killed. She must wonder IF her presence had affected the death of this man. The dreadful thought that IF she had not been in the phone booth, might he have shared his last words with someone important to him? Would he have committed suicide IF he had not been alone? His left hand has no ring on it. She wonders IF he had no one to call?

The woman is ushered to the car. She is not hurt, but she cries. She cries for the death of the man. He had no one with him in his final moments. What a terribly lonely death it must have been.

Then we see a hand placed on the woman's shoulder. Only the arm can be seen, but it is clearly not the policeman. The hand belongs to the lonely man. He wants to comfort and thank her for her tears. And just before the movie fades out, a ring appears on the man's finger. He was not truly alone.

Wow...

Touching... Really..
God, i love it.. >.<
Really cool..! I mean it..
I just smiles when the girl smiled at him... And when he just started...that way...the police, the expression...emotion... it was...something ...ahh damn.. too much for me im gonna cry D:
