Another high quality entry in a promising series
Again, a top-notch sprite movie with strong SMBZ and Sonic's Quest for Power vibes. One thing to note is that this episode tends to use a lot more anime-style spilt screen effects and non-sprite character art than the typical sprite movie; dialogue scenes are a lot more dynamic and close-ups don't always have that pixelated look that irks critics so much. This is a major plus; I hope this trend continues in this series.
Looks like you made another intro - are you going to have a brand new intro for each episode?! That seems like it would be a lot of work... Oh, and I like the SA2 style title screen. XD
I see that's you've already reduced the number of grammer errors a trickle - I presume that Masterater did the English proofreading, then?...
The story is awesome, period. I can't wait to see what happens next!
I like how the story is split into two sub-plots with multiple different teams: team Sonic/Shadow/X/Zero goes to rescue Amy and the Chaos Emeralds from the evil overlord Dragoon while team Knux/Tails/Proto races team Espio/Chaos0/Bass for the Master Emerald shards.
*SPOILERS*
Finally, Amy gets an important role - and she gets kidnapped for a reason other than "she is Sonic's 'girlfriend'." Others may be confused as to what it means for Amy to be the "Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds," so let me explain what I think this particular statement means in terms of the story so far.
First, Amy is the Guardian of the CHAOS Emeralds - her role does not replace or overshadow Knuckles' place as Guardian of the Master Emerald.
Second, unlike Knuckles, Amy does not want anyone to know that she is the guardian; this is for several reasons: kidnapping her apparently gives those looking for the Chaos Emeralds an advantage (unlike Knuckles), and she apparently doesn't want any help being Guardian (she said "It's my problem" to Eggman in Ep. 1).
Third, no, Amy isn't the Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds in traditional Sonic canon. The Chaos Emeralds usually don't have a guardian; the only Sonic canon that has anyone be THE Guardian of ALL the Chaos Emeralds is Fleetway's Sonic the Comic, and that's because the Master Emerald doesn't exist and Knuckles has to guard SOMETHING.
Finally, the 'bots from the Megaman X world crossing dimentions just to kidnap Amy wouldn't make much sense unless she was more important than she lets on. It will be interesting to see what kind of powers/knowledge Amy has as Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds.
