Reviews for "Swept to the End"

Mixed feelings.

I'm very fond of the graphics, the style, and the storyline, but the gameplay seems more frustrating than fun to me. I had a hard time turning the horse around to meet the wolves coming from behind in the Dark Forest segment, and I kept getting a strange lag throughout the game, where the horse would speed up for a moment, then slow down again. The fact that you must fully finish an attack bothered me, and made combat very frustrating. (i.e. The horse rears up, kicks both legs, comes down to normal stance, and THEN you can attack again) The game looks incredible, and the story and style are perfect for each other, but playing the game was overall a irritating experience.

Laydi Nite

SecretSecretary responds:

You dont need to turn the horse around to take care of the wolves when they come form behind, all you need to do is press S to kick backwards. Im sorry it was so frustrating for you, but thanks for the review and input, much appreciated!

Awesome.

Wow.This game is so challenging its incredible.
Nah not that challenging. It is a lot harder than what most people here are used to i am willing to bet.Still it is a great game. The graphics are just the way they should be and the play style is good to.Overall id give this game a 9 and a 5.
Oh and i just love playing dark forrest. For some reason its my favourite map.Oh and you should make the dragon chase harder.Beat it from my second try because i acidentaly spilled my drink the first time.

SecretSecretary responds:

The Dark forest is one of my favourites too. :D
I didnt want to make the dragon chase too difficult, seeing as it is only the second level in the game. That's the first time anyone has asked me to make anything in this game more difficult. hehe :) Thanks for the review!

perfect but....

but maybe you can add some upgrades like horse armor or golden axe.and maybe some combos like: ---),(---,A thank you for this beautiful game

SecretSecretary responds:

Your axe does get imbued with a certain power later on in the game, giving you one more attack option that will knock your socks off! Hehe! :)

Pretty Good!

Hey man nice little game you made there just the one complaint really.. i see the guy b4 me also had this problem lol that dam demon!! could'nt get past the hairy shite! but nice game none the less.. i'll b back l8r to give this a go again, any tips on beating the demon?? :-P lol

SecretSecretary responds:

Warlic here got to a level later on where there are a LOT of them! There's a walkthrough on my userpage if you have trouble with the game, just click my name and you'll be briskly swept to my userpage. The demon is not that hard to kill once you know how. Thanks for the review and glad you liked it!

Exceeded expectations!

When I saw the silhouette style that the game used, and the type of attacks the player used, I thought that the game would just be another one where you ran back and forth, killing enemies that spawned at regular intervals, seeing how many you could kill until you got bored. But as soon as I finished the first level, I saw it was more than that. After a good long struggle, I've finally given up at the Demon Parade level. My only complaint is that if you get trampled by a demon, you take about 3-4 more damage. Two demons, though, just kills you. Anyway, I'm sure that's already been mentioned. It's a good challenge, but I'm not quite sure it's possible to beat the game. Looking forward to your next one!

SecretSecretary responds:

Yeah from all the reviews I have gotten, the biggest problem is that its too difficult, but many people have sent me messages and comments with feelings of utter satisfaction and accomplishment saying they finnished the game, and I have finnished it many times as well. There's a walkthrough on my userpage if you want help getting past tricky places or if you just want to read and see what happens, but hey man, you were so close to finnishing the game! Glad you liked it, and thanks for the review!
