Reviews for "Swept to the End"

Nice.

awesome graphics, and probably the best story i've seen on NG! Couldn't get past the 'demon pass' level thou - kept on running out of lightening. Brillian game thou, agree with wanoflake, would have been even more appreciated on a bigger screen. Loved it though. Nice on!!

SecretSecretary responds:

Thanks. Yeah ok my next submission will be on a bigger screen. :)

One problem.

Can you switch the ax attack to the S key and the back kick attack to the A key? If you could do that, it would make it a lot easier to get past the dark forest part(I've tried and tried, but the way you've set the attacks to the A and S key keep messing me up, so I can't get past that part.) Other then that small problem, its a good game.

(5/10 because of that problem)

SecretSecretary responds:

Well you did end up giving me 6 out of 10 :) Which is good I suppose. Thanks for the review. I dunno if I'll change the controls, maybe... Its just that when you turn your horse around to face left, the controls would get even more confusing, that's why I set the controls up the way they are, so that they can be equal both ways, but maybe I should change it still, it might make the game easier.

LOVED IT!

GRAPHICS WHERE AWESOME EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!
But you could've made the screen bigger. It was a nice short game.
:D

SecretSecretary responds:

Thanks!

almost full marks

Im giving you full marks for its simplicity , and good over all play , nice vetor work. The big fuzzy guy killed me , after the forest , I would like to see one the plays a bit faster and you could dim the gallop sound of the horse slighty.

SecretSecretary responds:

I was wondering if the gallop could get a bit annoying and I tweaked around with the sound and volume a lot. You are the first to comment on it, so I'll take your word for it that it could be a bit softer. I'll check it out and maybe will edit it and upload the game again in the future... thanks for your input, much appreciated.

very good

i liked it, the story was short but good and the controls were not to bad. the only lvl i got stuck on was the one with the wolves. just 1 thing. is this earth? i mean they looked human but why are there 2 moons in the background. but they are pritty cool. also why dous the backgroung start dark (night) then starts to get brighter (dawn) then go dark again? still a very nice agme and i hope to see a new one soon.

SecretSecretary responds:

I cant give you straight answers to your awesome questions. The looping day/night (twilight/twilight) effect is there solely for style, and the 2 planets, well, I guess you can be safe to say its not earth, but some planet similar to earth where magic still roams open and free... Thanks for the review!
