Reviews for "Talesworth Arena"

Awsome ..

I really enjoyed playing this game, it's challenging and really cool ..
I would be good if there were more enemies on the arena ..

jinxology responds:

/agree, more enemies would be cool. It may make it really challenging though if the enemy is usually different, you can't learn how to beat them. It took a while to craft each enemy, so they were balanced across all 3 classes, that was the main reason for having only 2-3 per level and a few in quests.

good fun game!

worth playing

good

how do you complete the forest quest?

jinxology responds:

Make a map or google is your friend

fun at first...

This game got boring quickly, and tried to combine too many elements. Personally, I like Sinjid better(a much older and better looking rpg/strategy game). Leveling up consist only of buying skills. Combat is practically scripted(disrupt the spells to win, woot), and there is almost no customization whatsoever.
The graphics were very bland, and boring to look at. The music sounded like something suitable more for a library than for an rts rpg. At least the boss should have a special anthem. The sound effects were equally horrid, and consisted of a super-generic "bssh". Some battlecries, screams, or clanking metal would've been nice.
I would have also liked a storyline. Many console rpgs are heavily scripted, but are still entertaining because of interesting story progression(in addition giving rise to opportunities for quest).
Having to defeat a boss to level was slightly original, as were some elements of the combat system(one of which it being real time unlike many arena games on NG). However, I didn't feel like this game takes much of a step off the beaten path

Bravo, mr jinx!
