Reviews for "Can't Catch Tomorrow"

fantastico!

I loved the flash, and the song. And for your age, very good quality. I've got my GCSEs comming up soon.. *gulps*. It's nice to know someone else is into anime that's my age. Keep up the very good work :)

Very good.

For a first animation its pretty good. You have skill to animate smoothly and sync with music. I hope you send more submissions to NG. I want to see your skill increase over time. Sometimes I wish I could say more but I lost my words.

very nice.

top notch animation, the only thing i can say is that you could make it look like she's NOT running backwards by flipping the moving wall around so its going to the right not the left.

Nine months?...

Jeez...

Well every bit of it showed ^_^

Well all i gotta say is welcome to newgrounds and im wondering why you didn't get first T_T

Oh yeah and thanks for using lost prophets.

Lol, Lostprophets. =D

Thought few people even listened to them, much less would make a collage with one of their songs. Gotta say, you really caught the emotion and meaning of the lyrics, and the animation was pleasing enough to accompany that. I gotta say that, like everyone else, the running in the hall was was a bit confusing, but easily overlooked. I can see some multiple meanings coming along here though, and while that may not be bad, it is confusing on what it's truly about. What I got was pretty much that from the run down apartment and vanished friends, and by me having already heard the songs about 50 times, is that she's basically refusing, or unable, to leave past memories and people behind, choosing to remain on the same road (lol, song quote =3) that she lived before and never moving on, never changing like her friends did. The numerous clock references I believe means that she's running out of time to indeed change, as tommorow (another one, olol) waits for no one. As the video progresses and she does begin to change herself, it shows that she's slowly catching up to tommorow, and leaving behind the past memories of her friends along the way. Yet when tommorow sadly disappears at the end, I believe that either meant she wasn't truly ready to progress forward, or simply that it's impossible to catch tommorow. All we can do is follow it, 'cus if we caught it, we'd have all the time in the world. =D Which is something I believe she wanted at several points.

Overall, I found it well made and done, but perhaps another song could be more awesome? Perhaps Rooftops maybe? =D

Prize for best review goes to you. You got what I was trying to convey 100% accurate. I'm speechless! You hit the nail on the head.

Thank you so much!!

And yes, Rooftops is a song I aspire to animate next. (With less confusing parts).
