Feels more like a demo to a game..
Its somewhat short, but thats not a bad thing. The plot is simple, sweet, and pretty funny. Gameplay is standard for a turn based rpg, and I think you could easily recycle it and use it for other rpgs. The menu isn't the most efficient though. Maybe you could add a feature where you can click on the enemys and characters on the field. For some reason I feel that'd be better than clicking the tiny menu buttons. If you are going to keeping orders restricted to the menu, I suggest adding keyboard controls. It'd make actions much faster. I like how you can access the shop any time it's your partys turn, and making a purchase doesn't take a turn. Its also good that the shop is simple and only sells 12 things. But its a shame that you don't make enough money to afford all the spells and weapons. I mean you could spend all your money fora JRPG sword, but then your party would be unbalanced for the entire game. The only other complaint I can make is the mouse. On even a fast pc like mine, the mouse will lag if the game is put on high quality. And later when your party grows and there's 4 enemies on screen, It makes the make allmost unplayable. This doesn't make sense to me though, as this appears to be a fairly small game, and it shouldn't do that.
