Good

It's a really short, but a good game.. Really low pts for the not extremely hard medals sadly..

Yeah almost but, Eh.

I appreciate the effort and it is a cool game. It feels too crowded at times though and well, yeah. The weapons didn't seem to do the job really and the bosses were a little hard thanks to that, and if you are going to have powerups that dissapear when you respawn then you should definately make them more badass when they are maxed out. It just seems like something someone didn't put a whole lot of thought into it. It could be awesome, I like the idea of the weapons, the difficulty, and the graphics it is just like there is something missing that I can't put my finger on. As it is, if this really is a tribute, You just shouldn't have beaten that horse. Next time a storyline would be nice as well.

A really blunt rewiew

Cons:bad graphics,Shuriken too rare,god awful controls,hard bosses but overall easy,no patterns,too short Pros:Great gameplay,good powerups and some tricky enemies. Released on a bad time because Frantic 2 just came and most Shooter fans will be playing it probably. Decent game but just a demo. 7/10 3/5

Usually not a big deal, but at least make sure it's even remotely close to what it should be. Painfully annoying.

Not my favourite...

It's decent, but certainly not one of my favourite side scrolling shooters.

The main thing I find annoying is the weapon levels maxed out so fast. It took maybe 3 or 4 powerups? to get a max shooter. That's way to fast. And too boring.
And it's also weird that certain weapons are utterly useless. The laser is utterly pathetic even at full upgrade. It's power to pierce through by no means compensates it's weak firepower. The shuriken was pretty awesome, but the charge up attack was pointless and it even disabled me from continuing to attack. And it sucked even worse because it lasted for so long and I had to dodge bullets everywhere.

And it's almost as if you've kitted me out with the worse weapon for the boss each time. I don't know, maybe the weapon swaps are random, but my play through seemed to get me the crappiest weapon suited for each boss. I got the shuriken at the second boss and all my shurikens could do was destroy rockets and not deal any damage to the boss at all. Yeah, homing is great and all, but if all it can do is destroy the enemy's bullets, then it'll certainly take forever.

And I'm not sure about the level design overall. I found it incredibly hard to see anything at all. I don't know if it's the distracting blood splashes that don't go away for a while, or the background clashing with the bullets or something, but it just gave me a hard time to see what was coming.

The enemies were very repetitive, it was far too long between boss fights without much going on and the charge ups weren't very efficient. Not entirely addicting to begin with.

Could certainly be better, faster paced, and more powerup levels to have something to look forward to. At it's current rate now, it maxes out way too fast and all you have left is repeating enemies over and over again for too long before a boss fight.
