Yeah, unintended on the way the glaze melted, but the red was. He does look like he just ripped a fat load.
Good on you for doing stuff with this medium. You're flippin' good at it so I hope you push more to make some even more impressive and unusual results!
If you do more, might I suggest changing his gaze upward, to fall on the person who would be holding the mug in a position between sippies~

That's cool I respect that. Both meme gods. Honestly, a lot of people forget (don't know) it's just hard to paint stuff like this because it is fired at 2200 degree's 4 times. I respect it, but if it was oil or acrylic... yeah it'd look more real.
