Reviews for "miniTowerDefencePlus mTD+"

Decent TD

Though I find it futile to add basically the same game again, with only a few adjustments, it's still a great game. This "plus" version made game more enjoyable than the first release.
Achievements and upgrade system makes game really enjoyable, however I doubt if there's anyone using Multi Fire, Freeze, or poison towers, or even fast towers! Basically game cuts to getting enough money to start with super tower and from now on, you only build super towers 'till the end of the game. Too bad, 'cause this game has potential.
Also, some AoE towers would be nice (except for the bombs). And "upgrade towers", eg. increasing speed of towers in their area of effect.
More types of enemies would be nice too. Maybe with certain immunities?

Big plus for author for listening to reviews and implying them in his flash!

The TD Grind

I noticed right off the bat that the game was terribly slow. Luckily there is an option to speed it up, which I found myself simply clicking on each time before starting. This made it possible to even get the "expert" status, as your points tick down all the same in between waves.

The first few maps were certainly easy. I kept at it in the hopes that the difficulty would increase, which it abruptly did. I found myself having to play older maps to "grind" my way up to being able to handle the newer ones. I'm not sure I liked that style, I would have preferred to rely more on strategy and less on passive bonuses.

I didn't play long enough to find much use for the multi tower, freeze tower, or poison tower. I tried to incorporate them, but they felt terribly weak.

All in all I had a fun time for a while with this, but I felt that it was too demanding on the grind and that the "special" towers just didn't cut it. I found myself just using the first two towers for the first 11 levels before eventually giving up. Good work on the game, overall, but I feel like it still has a way to go to really be fun and addicting.

nahh

this was not bad but got me bored fast, there's nothing new thats worth the mention.
its just another of the hundreds of td we have already seen here.
advice for next time: find something entirely new to do

maybe it was just my computer

but i refreshed several times and did everything I could imagine to play this game and it just wouldn't send any waves. I clicked N several times and it registered that they had been sent but nothing went. I'll give you a higher rating or delete this if i get it to work but it seems like something is possibly missing in the program (my comp is a mac. would that affect it? idk)

Hope thatim really the only one cause it looks like a fun game.

Good game

Solid although not entirely original, I did get fed up with having only the basic turret being of any use through almost the first ten levels. I did, however, find a much more useful tower by chance just fooling around: the poison tower! Simply throw upgrade points into starting money and as soon as you have the $600 upgrade buy a poison turret at the beginning of the level and place it at the beginning of the track and you win. The poison doesn't expire so just switch to x3 speed and watch them run themselves to death.
