This game is a a tiny masterpiece
The Good:
+Music was great, and fit each level scheme
+Lack of Level system meant no annoying "Level Requirements"
+Artifacts helped, then got replaced when outdated/weaker, progressive system
+Combat was smooth and easy
+Chests were plentiful, and levels were randomized
+File size is the best game possible for it
+Art was decent, not the best, but not the worst
+Great freaking game
The Bad:
-Potions cost way too much for the first levels, forcing you to wing out
-Elemental damage is barely noticeable, and the -10% Damage taken seemed to be better than the +35 Element Defense ring.
-The stat lookup artifacts should have been a mouse-over view, not when you are fighting the monster, at that point, it's too late
-It's possible to lose due to the game itself, when the map FORCES the player to fight 2 goblins on the first screen, then move to the next with almost 0 HP, especially at level 1.
-The game should have distributed ALL artifacts before doubling them.
-Final boss was not fulfilling.
-Lack of an ending sequence.
-No option to pick a floor after end of game.
-MP is hard to keep up.
In the end, the game kept me occupied for 3:16 Hours. Quite good for a game less than 1MB large. A full runthrough can be found on my channel, taken at 900% speed (20 Minutes Total): http://www.youtube.com/user/MrFuzzlep op
