Well... not bad but... not perfect
My feelings on this game are mixed:
The good part:
-The art is quite good, the creepy style, bodies and stuff are well made.
The bad parts:
-No hints on how to solve stuff. Example: i didn't see the blocked door yet, but i still gonna take a hammer with me? And, I'm braking through a hospital, and as i walk in i see an old torn up jeep. What do? Oh! I'll get some gasoline it's always handful. The old "click everywhere" syndrome strikes as we gather everything we can in sight. Its a flaw in the majority of the point and click games, where you don't have to think, just gather stuff and use it at the right time... IMO the best way to counter that is to place hints, like: first, not being able to take the gasoline, then seeing the rope and try to cut it with scissors, say "rope's too big it won't work, i'll only break the scissors... maybe if i burn it?" -> then let access to the gasoline. With the actual system i didn't even wanted to get through the entire game.
-Music lacks a bit and would have given a real chill in the tense moments.
-Spooky ghosts appearing right of nowhere in plain view. Look back at your horror classics: it's more scary to show just a little something (furniture moving a bit, shadow moving in an angle) rather than a monster appearing in front of you.
-The spelling in english is worst than mine, and I'm french.
Still, like i said, there is good material, and i'll be waiting for more submissions from the author.
