Reviews for "60 Second Life"

COOL :)

That was a good game. I've never seen anything like. Their wasn't much to it, but it was interesting and I like it.

you could make it more cynical

You could make it more cynical by maybe having the life span be variable, and having a goal to the game like "living to 100". And then if you make it, your character jumps around in glee for having made it to 100.... and the narrative pauses to have him having nothing to look forward to, as a result of his accomplishment, except a few short more years or months before the oblivion you've slightly prolonged the avoidance of, and in a crippled body.... hurray! Mission accomplished! Or having the goal be just to make as much money as possible and of course lose it in the end when you die. As it is, it's too confused I think.

That's life

I love this game because it is something that absolutely every single person on the entire planet Earth can associate him or herself with. We all live lifes, that is why we are here! You know, I think this is probably going to reflect what will happen to be in my life. I have little money now, but I certainly focus a lot on family and friends values. I was thinking this might be a really cynical game, but it was actually pretty hopeful! Now if someone could only tell me how to get far in the real version of it...

This should be entered as an art game

I think that there are several meanings in this game- even though i found two so far. Firstly, life fucking sucks. All we do is eat, drink, get money, have sex, and (most importantly) stress out. What do we achieve that makes a difference? Most of us achieve nothing. That's depressing. That's pitiful.

The other meaning is that every single day, every single minute, every single second and millisecond and moment in our lives, we have the ability to make a choice. Live a life of misery, break through the norm and live a life full of meaning and adventure, etc. We make the decision. But the depressed people are the ones who are too lazy/scared to make that decision. Most of us, sadly, are depressed and have a crappy life.

Life is too short. Do something meaningful that makes your heart pump with happiness and excitement. Don't let society and its norms get in your way. Don't let fear get in the way either- unless you totally know something bad is going to happen.

Great game

A very creative way to get people to sub-consciously see what they may see as important in their lives, when they're actually just playing a game.

Although the game isn't very complicated, it was a change than what I am used to seeing on this site, so it was a welcomed change.

I do wish that the controls of the left and right can be smoother sometimes. Instead of having the design of going slot to slot, you should try to code it to be a free range moving control scheme, which would make it so much more fun.

Overall, a great game, and a fine job.

i used free range movement in the early versions of the game, however it felt somewhat unprecise. one would spend more attention to the location of the character than on the opportunities dropping from the sky. i understand your point though, thanks for stopping by.
