As always, retro games are awesome, since most of them have an amazing story, amazing gameplay, and awesome graphivs, just like this one. Nice game
Lot of interesting aspects. However I'm confused how to customize the abilities. I press z to open the menu but what do I do from there? I tried clicking on the + and - signs but nothing changed. Clicking on the empty boxes also resulted in no effect. I tried just continuing to raise my skill and it did result in an extra damage point at skill point 8 I think but doesn't let me customize it.

You must suck at adventure games like this, he says that the fire hurts him, so if you lower the damage on the fire to 0 points then it thaws him out. Jesus, man. Anyway, this game is pretty fun; I'm not a fan of how the creatures are in areas where there's no room to shoot them, though.
Pretty good game
The style was great, I love old video games. I also really liked the skills and upgrading them. I wish there was a little bit more in terms of the story, but it was good enough.
Hints:
You gain exp based on the damage you do, you you're best off putting all points into damage unless they are momentarily needed elsewhere.
Ending #1: Turn back at first boss, don't fight him.
Ending #2: Rush back to your love. Don't go back and fight the first wizard/second boss.
Ending #3: Go back and kill the first wizard before seeing your gal.
Excellent game
This was a great game and I certainly enjoyed myself. I really hope to see a squeal to this.
However, I did have to take a point off because there was a minor problem: Sometimes the character will keep moving when I let go of the keys.
