Reviews for "infect. evolve. repeat. 2"

Fantastic!

The first one was one of my favs but this is one is just ... fantastic.

The lay low levels are easy just keep draging your blood cell if you don't release your left mouse button it dosn't infect anything no matter how many autopilot skills you have.

And the drifting off screen is fine...
As well as the White Blood Cells and the Antibiotics however... these black(?!) Cells are tough as hell can one even kill them?

The endless levels are really tough imho and could be adjusted (I'm dying again and again...) but the storylevels really aren't overly difficult.

Love it

I don't often write very good reviews but I'm going to give it a try.
People complain about it being the same as the old one but some of the new things are that in this, there's basically a campaign where you're given a small variation of tasks, as to infect, kill or even not to kill and infect.

Another new thing is that the instructions about the different attributes, they weren't as precise in the first one and also there's a completly new one, auto-infect, and my first thought to that one was "Awesome, then I won't even have to bother clicking for my germs to spread!" alas at stage 40 you'll have to be better than auto.
Yet another thing is that once you die in this, it's not game over like in the old one where you have to start over everytime you die, here you continue from directly after the last stage you completed which in my opinion is excelent, it gives it more replayability.
Also the graphics of course are updated so if you think it's all the same as the first one you haven't played enough of neither of those games.

So more of a comment than a summary of the game, love it as the name of this review says, it really kept the essence of the first one and made it to something more, with the fact that you get to continue or start a new game it's more up to you when it's game over, the new graphics look nicer in general wich is always a nice touch and the music is, although not as intense as the first one, more funky and still very suiting for the game in my opinion.
And I like that to do alot of progress you have to do some thinking about what skills you pick as later some end up being useless or even bad to have a high level in.

Just Awesome

This is just great!
I like the campaignlike style with textmessages and the simple structure of this whole infecting and evolving process.
loled when my "patient" had a fever trip :D

Wonderful

I have to say, this is quite an amusing game that you have created. I have played quite a few games about infecting and taking over myself, but none of them have ever really touched on the pre-pandemic era of an infection.

Animation / Graphics - As small a game this is, it is very well animation, and was honestly beyond what I expected to see when I was loading up the game and getting pumped to play it. The blood looks realistically like actual blood in its microscopic form, and the way it spins with motion is quite nice. The white blood cells, and other enemies in the game are just as well animated as the regular blood.

Story - Although it wasn't really all that much of a story, it was quite entertaining seeing the minds and thought process of a functioning army of diseases, I didn't really think that they would be all that eager to completely destroy the human body! While it is a rather loose plot, I appreciate the humor that was injected into it.

Audio - All throughout the game I was throughly enjoying the music that came along with the game itself, it seemed intense at the appropriate moments, and it seems peaceful and calm and the right ones as well. My favorite audio was probably the track that played during the drug trip scene.

Overall - Very fine game, and a wonderful addition to the portal, you should honestly be proud of this creation, as it deserves every award it is presented.
