What?
The animation was pretty good, though generally it repeated itself a lot due to the minimal number of moves. Overall though it seemed more like an advertisement for Mini Fighter than a NG animation. I'd give this a higher rating but it really only feels like it was meant to advertise the game.

After Effects and sprites pulled straight from some game... so? I think the presentation wasn't too bad, but as far as creativity, nah, this just wasn't much fun to watch. Perhaps if the characters actually made contact with their moves more than .05% of the time it'd be interesting, instead their just jumping around in a ballet fashion, dodging everything and making awkward remarks. "You look weak"? What the hell does that even mean? The dude had a damn fire tiger popping out his ass...!!!!
Anyway, My advice is to do something original with your own sprites and with an actual point to it. Here, all I see is a replaced background and probably your own text, otherwise, meh.

the artwork was nice, but it could've been a lot better
the music was seriously lacking
Sorry but..
The game didn't seem that original, I felt like I had played it somewhere else before. The graphics were average too, and the story couldn't keep me sucked into the game to keep me playing.
A good start.
