Reviews for "Alight"

Fascinating...

This is like something out of an ancient legend, something like how the elements of fire and water led to the creation of man. The animation was excellent, everything down to the flickering and swirling of Sparker's body to Aquanna's gelatinous and fluid movements.
If someone doesn't get it, well the story is entirely up to you, it's most likely meant to be interpreted. If you aren't very creative or good with that, well feel free to read my interpretation.
I feel like Sparker and Aquanna were created one day by some force, possibly divine. They saw each other and were so different from each other. But it was almost like love at first site, possibly just friendship. As they grew close to one another, suddenly the earth beneath spawned a giant contraption or being of some sort. Unfortunately Aquanna was caught beneath the giant's massive body. Sparker rushed over to her to hear her last dying breaths. The death of Aquanna made Sparker furious and he sacrificed himself to destroy the machine responsible for killing Aquanna. The force and heat must have caused whatever water there was in the sky (possibly Aquanna) to fall and make rain. And only a few rogue flames remained from what Sparker used to be. From the rubble, crawled a strange, primitive creature. The fire forged the creature's body and the rain drowned the fire out and created the creature's armor or skin. Making what we now know as Man.

nice

i loved it. the story was simple yet elegant. the animation was awesome. but anybody can direct. you should do somethingg

Amazing!

No one has realized it, but that's actually a way of how human started!

amazing absolutley amazing

all i have left to say is: FUCK YOU BucketOfHair!!

Interesting

All i can say is that this is great. A short simple story that has a sense of beauty through the entirety. From the innocence of the first meeting to the first spark between the two. I felt like their beginning should have been expanded but what was done sufficed quite well. The anger was done amazingly well, and the following battle was too. The end sequence though is what made the animation. I feel there's a message there, but for the life of me i have no idea what it is. All i can say is that it is a thing of beauty.
(But apparently i can say much more than that.)
