Reviews for "Colony Defenders TD"

Excellent details

I was shocked to hear such good voice acting from the tutorial, and the sounds in general are tip top, the graphics are quite decent, this is definately the most flashy TD game I've seen in a while, however there was no pioneering as far as the TD games go, and the gameplay is not very refreshing to say the least.

You had a really nice chance of making a bold change to the gameplay, but in the end, this was safely inside the typical generic TD game.

I like!

It is a bit different than many TD games, but could use some more to it. I haven't completed the whole game but from what I see so far you cannot upgrade your miner, clicking next wave doesn't seem to pose any advantage since waiting allows your miner to get more money, and you don't carry money over from previous level so it makes it seem like as long as you survive its fine. Also as others have said maybe more selection of weapon types.

A really good TD game

It has been quite a while since such a awesome TD game has come out and this really made the standard for TD games to go up a notch. The units are really versatile and good, without any overwhelmingly OP and this one requires really thought out strategy. I am giving this a 8/10 for 2 reasons: 1) There are some points where unit placement point are blocked by the cancel build button. 2) You can add upgrades for the command centre and mining facility, example a small higher mining speed or suffer maximum 20 less damage per hit. In the overall, I really recommend people to play this game if they are interested in the TD genre

liked it, but....****spoilers**** you're warned...

it doesnt seem like the more expensive units yield better results.... After having a bit of difficulty in the later levels, on a whim, I tried just filling everywhere with the basic trooper unit, and then upgrading them one by one.... and I took no damage to my base..... so with the costly upgraded units and the higher cost to upgrade them, there's not much point if they dont work as well as the basic troops.... unless the game is supposed to contain a "greater message" about military power in the real world.. :-p

It's really nice, but gets boring after a few levels. Once the ruitine kicks in, every level is just more of the same.

Also, I noticed that the enemy does not follow the path of the terrain. Really, what's the point of having a canyon on the map if it doesn't tell you anything about where the hostiles would be coming from?
