Reviews for "Deep Sleep"

Holyshit this game is creepying out me

Excellent game!
I did need the walkthrough a couple of times but otherwise it wasn't too difficult. I don't why the graphics are so low-res; it was a bit difficult sometimes to find interactive stuff. Still, it did give the feeling of a dream, with the darkness near the corners and the grainy blinking effect (I don't know how it's called). The phones added to the atmosphere, although I couldn't understand completely what was said (was there a hint at all?). Music - perfect match. And the occasional scary thing - completely in place. Now back in to find the secret medal, I hope :)

There are several reasons behind low-res graphics. One of them is pixel art. Other - I can't draw really well and this is a great way to hide it :D

the art is cool but i don't like the idea of beating a women :( also there is many other bugs plus lag ... but nice game after all ( rate 4 )

Yes! This is what good horror is, and you are doing nearly everything right. I have to agree with the other reviewers in that this is on the short side, but a great ride nonetheless. Although the length somewhat ties into your usage of "less is more", which I was happy to see since others who attempt works like these tend to go overboard trying for big scares, and you took the high road for this making very well placed ones.

Your audio is also what makes me like this so much; unsettling ambiance throughout really made me think of the game Outcry. The music is typically what makes the atmosphere of a game, and this fits, I think. Your sound effects are all very organic, don't change a thing.

Now, I'm not the most intelligent gamer, but a few of the solutions were on the ambiguous side. I'm hopeless with most point-and-click anyway, so never mind that. Glad you included a walkthough, I truly am.
Keep on doin' what you're doin'; I approve. 8.5 / 10

Yeah it might feel a bit short but it was made for a contest with limited time so I had to cut some corners here and there..

I'm scared!
