It's an awesome game, I just want to play it :)
The game is fantastic, considering you said you did this all by yourself. The music, cute humor, relaxed pace, classic platformer atmosphere, etc. are all wonderfully implemented and I see no faults after playing for days, other than the minor ones already mentioned, for being just a beta. I have frequent, severe internet lag, :-( so any logging on, loading time, Payvault purchasing, and movement issues aren't caused by the game :-).
With that said:
1) I do strongly agree with the other players' suggestions of monster drops being exclusive to the person who killed it, and that money and/or items should be automatically collected as you walk by it or upon killing the monster. (But as is, racing for loot only adds to the competition, and is not a bad thing, maybe this is intended.)
2) Separate servers to handle the inevitable lag in the event this game goes viral sensation, with many, MANY players. (Although less than 200 players at any given time is fine with me, 146 at time of post.)
3) More ATM's, at least at every major shop, along with showing how much we have in our account, even from far, FAR away. (But the limited number of them is fine as it adds an element of strategy.)
4) The ability to actually step down to lower platforms since the S key/down arrow does little else when not on a portal. This would save us having to run all the way to the other side of the larger levels just to go down.
5) The ability to move, while attacking. This is a major issue for me, but quick-jump combo chaining, (AKA SPAM), works well to circumvent this problem for now. lol X-)
Well, that's all I could come up with on the spot, otherwise you have a nifty little start-up project here, and that deserves a 5 just for the effort. THANK YOU!
