Reviews for "The Sorrows"

Ok this is interesting aaaaand it stops...

I lost my ability to even. Roses are red, violets are blue, what in the actual fuck... All my wat goes to you.

A rather brutal rendition of the simpsons- and there's something to truly appreciate here, however- I've been so accustomed to the simpsons being a show that treads lightly (come now... Talking the early seasons, let's not go past the "We need a guest every other episode" line) when it comes to serious matters and generally takes a lighthearted look at the denizens of Springfield inbetween chalking up matters and morals.

The reason why I took off 1.5 stars is that the animation feels slightly incomplete and detached. I would imagine that you intended to imply things (e.g. Maggie) rather than to spell them out for everyone- but this works when there is adequate context and "crumbs" to lead the viewer to a reasonable conclusion. This feels like I just watched the last episode of Lost, on the other hand. Where there are bits and pieces strewn about that I can recombobulate together as I see fit- but I'm confused just as much with my extrapolation.

Cheers,
-CO

To me the Simpsons seem like a childhood dream. But as I dive into it, I sometimes feel more and more estranged. It's not a bad feeling though.

Well, I'm glad other people were able to interpret the cartoon, because I didn't have much of a clue myself as to what was happening. Then again, it's 5:30 in the morning, so I don't feel much like thinking, either.

Good job!

what did i just watch? o.o

Could have been longer. The Krusty part seemed unnecessary. Otherwise: very good. Like the style and that you don't have to show everything to make the viewer understand what happened.
