Reviews for "Wizard vs Werewolf"

Oh man such horryble news, so it happened, can't we kidnap you and force you to make toons? can't we get the mafia involved with this? the world needs to see your stuff.

The ending was unexpected, great work as always, i am gonna miss these.

MisterHerbal responds:

No Doomroar, I got 'nuff problems in my life, the mafia would only make it worse. Kidnapping doesn't sound so bad if you feed me and get me high once in a while. I'll be missing your comments man. BUT I don't want this to be THE END. It's not much of a choice to be honest, I'm just in a point in life where I'm kind of trapped, and gotta see where my ends meet which means doing what I dont want to do. As soon as I fix my life, I'll be back probably, I know animation is inside of me and I can't let it go that easy. Thanks for all the support you've given me from the start bruv. You've been there since the beginning.

Animation should never be about money to begin with, it's about expressing yourself and if you get paid for it, it's a bonus. You've been super productive with your toons and you deserve something for it, but sadly it's very hard to make a living off your own stuff. Hopefully you will still find time to create cartoons cause you have a talent for it and it'd be sad to see it go to waste. It's tough being an artist and even tougher finding work as an artist, but don't let the reality of getting a job deter you from what you really want, if anything it should inspire you even more to take yourself more seriously, even if it's been 10 years, who gives a shit how long it takes. Goodluck with your future, it's in your hands! Oh and great job on the toon btw. lol

MisterHerbal responds:

Mr.Blordow, If animation for me, was indeed about money, I wouldn't have spent my life, from the age of 14-15 to the age of 26 animating every day, no pay. It's beyond money for me. It's the cure for my mental disorder and the tool to express my ideas. It's basically my grip on reality. I sacrificed my life, including my relationships with people and the way I interact with the world. That's how deep it was for me, and still is. It was the reason I wake up in the morning. I have the same beliefs as stated above in your comment, but sometimes life can get in the way and it's bigger than you. I'm only doing what I can to survive, and the way I animate, it takes pretty much most of my life, so it's either a job or animation for me. I chose animation for the greatest portion of my existence, but now it's not that easy. I don't live with my family anymore, and life is needy. If i don't do something about it, there still wouldn't be the possibility of me to continue animating anyway. I just hope I can fix my economical issues so I can get back to it.

Gonna miss seeing your submissions here. Oh well, good luck with whatever it is you can find. If you do come back, I, along with many others, will be happy to see you here again. :)

MisterHerbal responds:

Thanks, good to hear I won't be forgotten by some of you guys! Entertaining you was my pleasure. :)

Such talent and craft unrewarded and yet you somehow retain an enviable degree of levity in your work. I hope things go the way you'd like them to go.

You selfish bastard. You are NOT allowed to fucking quit! Screw money, die animating, damn it. DAMN YOU!

MisterHerbal responds:

Yes! That was my plan, to die animating. Hopefully I'll get back to the process of my death :)
