Reviews for "Clicker Heroes"

its like the fighting version of cookie clicker. plus it actually has a reason and its fun :)

i would say 5 stars but, whenever i ascend i seem to not be able to get any hero souls after that.
that is except for ascending again, not even primal bosses give me any hero souls.
but other than that it is the most addictive and fun game the world has seen yet=),
(please tell me if it is meant to be that way or something, and sorry if it is)

I've never cared for idle games until I played this one. I started about a month ago and I'm pushing for my first trip to lvl 200 right now. I think this game is balanced very well. I can check it every couple hours on a deep run and move things along but when I ascend I get up to lvl 140-150 and 7 - 15 hero souls if I feel like speed running. Love this game, keep up the good work. PS Please excuse any misspellings or plain dumbassery as I am fairly drunk at the moment.

I'm pretty conflicted on how I should respond to this. This game lacks any distinct design choices, has no interesting game mechanics, has questionable balance issues, and only rewards your patience with more of the same tedious work.

So why have I been letting it run for 2 days? Because there's always something more to unlock. There's no fear of failure when failure is literally impossible, and very quickly the game starts to play itself with minimal effort on your part. Click damage is pretty much worthless without a skill to boost it, so all you really have to do is come back every 10 minutes, activate your skills, and level your heroes. It starts off easy enough to unlock everything and your merry band of misfits all contribute in different amounts, but by the end, a single upgrade on an end-tier hero is worth more than 100 upgrades on an earlier one. At the same time, you have no choice but to wait for your skills because click damage becomes increasingly pointless, except to pair with Clickstorm, Lucky Strikes, etc.. Progress slows down so considerably, that it becomes a more viable option to just leave it alone for a long time and mop up the idle rewards. I don't think I've played a game before that rewarded me so generously for not playing it. I spent the last two days only glancing back at the screen every now and then while doing something completely unrelated, and I made it to level 100. At that point, the grind stopped making sense to me, so I just decided to stop checking back in. While it lasted, it was a nice enough distraction, but it offered practically nothing else.

The best game to play when you have to go to sleep you get up and your ready to upgrade and relax
