Reviews for "TD-Life Drawing"

Nice! As somene who went to art school, I agree that life drawing is extremely important, but can also be tricky as you stated in the video. It's funny, because I would ALWAYS draw the genitalia of the models. I'd give the dicks cast shadows and everything. Nobody else in the class would. Hell, even my professors took me aside the one day and whispered, "You know...you don't HAVE to draw the genitals..." And I just kinda laughed and said, "Hey, I'm just drawing what I see. First rule of drawing from observation." People are so easily offended by anything sexual. It's strange how society became this way.

I have just finished watching all of the 12 TD episodes that are out so far and I can just say that I am in love with this series. The artstyle plus the narration you give create a perfect match, making these short films a treat to watch. Being a college student myself (Industrial Engineering) I can tell that most of these animations can be applied not only to those studying in art school, but to all careers.
Anyways, as I said artstyle is great, storytelling was awesome, and the several sound effects gave it a great touch to it. I, personally, believe that your Technical Dave series need no improvement so far and are perfect as they currently are.
You have gained a new follower that will definitely be waiting to see what topic you illustrate next on the series.

I love this cartoon! It's great to see how awesome the animation is, which I guess is kind of ironic. I didn't know this was how it worked. I had no idea all models were nude. Well, I guess I'm not as experienced in art as I thought. I made a bunch of drawings as a kid.

I'll probably make more someday, but it would be interesting to get into this. Yeah, there are always those annoying things. It was great to see something with only an "End" title. I would personally hate to be one of those models. You seemed to have certainly lived an interesting life.

Pretty accurate, for not just a college student but anyone who took life drawing for the first time. The animation suited the style of the work. But the jokes and experiences are what truly sells the animation as a whole. Nice job, keep it up.

Really funny and at the same time informative, good work Dave.
