Holy cow! SplashKhat is still around after a decade of inactivity!?
Anyway, a great remake of the very 1st chapter of FFF with much better sprite animation & additional dialogue. The added scene with Cecil's conversation between his Paladin & Dark Knight sides was great :)
Now that you aren't dead, FF:Gaiden is a work of satirical art, I loved it so much. Your taste in music for the series was also excellent.
I liked gaiden alot, watched shodown a few times, the rest were kinda poopy but not all bad. You have to keep making flash. I liked and watched them all. You are a legend
When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a fan-remake, but apparently its the real deal. I'll try and support your indiegogo . The reward tiers are kinda neat but there aren't that many.

Thanks my biggest fan! I love workin with Flash. The only issues I have is that it takes so long to make content as a solo developer. And I make negative profit. If I could solve just one of those, I'd be making new things all of the time.
I'm open to other perk ideas. Even if you think it's a bad idea, I'd like to hear it.
I had all these messages in my inbox and was afraid I had gotten banned or something! I just find it wonderful that you're going back to this after all these years. Granted, it's not a continuation, but still awesome! It seems like the sprites have in fact improved. It's just that people don't use them that much anymore. I loved the rippling effects.
My only complaint was that it was a bit too long. I was wondering if TTA (now TOME) was inspired by this. I thought it would be an update with drawn stuff like, well, TOME. It's great to know that you're still here. Some guy still has you beat in terms of comebacks as he took a break for a little over ten years.

Glad you liked the effects. They couldn't have been done with the old Flash, It's mostly done with programming. And though they don't look like much, all the spell casting animations are also pure programming made to resemble the original games. It's like I should get into making games or something. lol
The only TOME I know of is that roguelike that likes to kill me. have you got a link for TTA? And I'm glad I didn't beat that guys record. I just hope there's enough support to carry this series into completion.
Zirothos, the exact properties of Phoenix Down as a curative have varied from FF to FF, in games where they explicitly die but are by some means valid for revival,FF2 for example,(The Real one, not 4 dolled up as 2) has a mention in the beginning about how they have strong life force or something and that's how Firion managed to hang onto this realm and recover with the aid of the healing circle, 5 is in the same boat as well, after all, after Galuf's Rip Roaring Stand of NOT DYING they try everything, cause its the normal plan of action, and it all falls short and fails.
As for an actual review, this is awesome, no more needed.
