Reviews for "Dungeon of Gain"

This is an average RPG. The Equipment set up is confusing. The controls need work and the enemy stand there while be attacked. Fix the bugs, and add polish to make this game much better.

Giving this game a 3star for it's classic out-take on an "RPG World".
The thing that I don't understand is the Equipment set up.
Like do all of those gears you pick up through-out the game stack up?
There isn't a main slot or anything to Equip on the character.

As this game get's a little bit more developed I think it's safe to say that you're going to need another option in the inventory to Equip all of those items in the right order.

over all I kind of like this type of game :)

it need veery upgrade

How do you open the large chests? Do you need a key? Where do you get them? What is the purpose of lighting the torches? I would prefer it if the hero would move more quickly.

It needs work. That's about it. It's interface is wonky, the combat is mediocre at best (The enemies don't move towards me while I shoot them down, how's that supposed to work?), the movement and interactions are overall very, very poor, and for such a huge HUD one would expect to actually notice what's going on in the game - the "failed" messages when it came to lockpicking only appeared a long while after, leaving me completely clueless as to what to do.
0/10 would rather play Dwarf Fortress, when it comes to these terms.

This being said, I'm still giving you 2.5 stars for a very simple reason. It has plenty of potential, and the concept, although nothing new, is good. I firmly believe that this game could be one of the games honourably featured daily, if only you'd spend some time on it, polished the edges and made it work the way it's intended to.
