So basically They Live but with Christianity instead of some sort of illuminati. It's kind of cute but it doesn't hold together under scrutiny any more than any religion itself does. After all, what about the other religions then? They're only going to Christian churches to collect the faith energy? Were they involved with Muhammad? With Joseph Smith? L. Ron Hubbard? The problem with this is it suggests that Christianity really is special somehow. Not in the way the Christians would like, but fundamentally different from the other religions nonetheless. The aliens come here and establish one religion, they don't have a hand in any of the others, just that one, and the one they establish for their purposes is kind of indistinguishable from the rest. But oh, it's different, because it's the one that aliens are behind. Or are the other religions taken care of in similar ways by their own departments, being a large operation, and this video just showed us the department in charge of Christianity or part of that department? Wouldn't it be counterproductive to the aliens for some of the religions' modus operandi to attack the others? Sure, they may be able to collect faith energy from the priests in the churches, but if that's all they want, what about the religions that have people fly airplanes into buildings? That doesn't seem conducive to their energy collection plan, so if they control the religions, they shouldn't design them to operate that way, it should be a mean, green, faith energy collection machine with none of the pieces attacking the other pieces.
But nice sexy Dawkins billboard though. And it was interesting to watch.
I often see something that looks like it was animated by egoraptor at times and then I remind myself that he doesn't get involved with anything cool like that any more, he just does that gamegrumps junk on youtube, and sure enough, he's not the one who made it. And then THIS time surprise, he's the voice of god! Though still probably not involved with the animation. Just for a few moments it sometimes looked like it was.
